Law Library Management
As professional librarians and researchers we understand that a law firm
library’s collection needs to be dynamic, current, and timely. We know
that each firm’s culture plays a role in the development and growth of
its information center.
We establish effective management, operational, and cost effective
processes for our clients. The needs of our clients vary; in some cases
A/I staff serves as the on-site consulting librarian, and in other cases
we support the firm’s in-house library staff.
We tailor our services to your needs.
Sample Project
Given the high costs of print and electronic subscriptions a client
requested us to review the current library collection and recommend
strategies for the organization and growth of the information center. We
evaluated existing print and electronic subscriptions to determine which
titles and formats met the needs of current practice groups within the
firm.
As a result of our analysis and recommendations to management the firm canceled subscriptions that were no longer applicable to the firm’s practice as well as duplicate electronic and print subscriptions. |
